by Admin AKR Gallery West West Jakarta, December 20, 2025 — AKR Gallery West conducted a fire safety socialization and simulation on Saturday, December 20, 2025, as part of its annual safety program aimed at enhancing emergency preparedness among building occupants. The activity was carried out in collaboration with the West Jakarta Fire and Rescue Department.
The event was organized under the responsibility of AKR Gallery West Building Management, with operational support from Spotless, the outsourced facility service provider responsible for security and cleaning services at AKR Gallery West. The program aimed to provide guidance, awareness, and practical instruction on fire safety procedures in the event of a potential emergency.
A total of 57 occupants of AKR Gallery West participated in the activity. Participants attended a series of sessions that included fire safety briefings and a fire emergency simulation, designed to familiarize occupants with proper response procedures during a fire incident.
During the socialization session, the West Jakarta Fire Department team delivered comprehensive explanations on fire hazards, preventive measures, evacuation procedures, and the correct use of portable fire extinguishers (APAR). The session emphasized the importance of remaining calm, following emergency signage, and complying with instructions from safety officers.
The fire simulation exercise provided hands-on experience for participants, allowing them to practice evacuation procedures and understand emergency response coordination within the building environment. This exercise was conducted to ensure that occupants are better prepared to respond effectively and safely in real emergency situations.
Through this initiative, AKR Gallery West reaffirms its commitment to maintaining high safety standards and ensuring a secure and well-managed environment for all occupants and visitors. The Building Management will continue to implement regular safety programs as part of its ongoing efforts to promote awareness, preparedness, and collective responsibility within the AKR Gallery West community.
